This will provide your horses with a degree of comfort and protection greater than simple fly sprays and will aid in combating mosquitoes carrying the potentially deadly West Nile Virus. This is an easily installed, do-it-yourself system requiring only a couple of hours to completely protect your barn. These sprays are safe for use in barns and stables, kennels, food processing plants, bakeries and etc. when mixed and used in accordance with label directions. Click here for system maintenance tips!

It's almost time for those in the colder parts of the country to think about winterizing your systems. Freezing temperatures can damage your tubing, nozzles, fittings and pump. The most common problem from lack of winterizing or improper winterizing is nozzle adapters pushing out of their fittings, tubing pushing out of their fittings and pump failure. Even a mild frost will cause the liquid to freeze in the fittings and potentially cause harm. This often results in the damaging of the fitting itself. We would be glad to discuss winterizing methods with you if needed. We offer our Sub-Zero bio based cleaner & winterizer that will clean and protect your system in one easy step. It is available in gallons for $16.45. Some systems may require more than one gallon to thoroughly winterize.
Automist The
Automist is an automatic insect control
system that has proven to be a vital option for horse or livestock facilities,
it is also very popular for outdoor recreational areas such as pools, patios,
and backyards. Kennel owners will also want to consider this effective method of
pest control.
Automist with its very high control rate is effective and completely automatic. Automist gives a synchronized spray that evenly distributes coverage of insecticide over an entire area during the duration of each timed spray. Automist systems can be installed conveniently at the time of new construction, when additions are added, or in already existing areas to effectively reduce insect populations. The Automist system can easily be expanded to accommodate growth.
New for 2008 - All systems will now be equipped with two check valves to shorten start up time when the timer calls for a spray cycle. One is installed on the suction line and one on the return line. These are included at no extra charge. In
'08 we are also offering an
optional
in line filter with removable filter element to help keep nozzles clean.
Element should be cleaned every few months to help keep lines and nozzles free
of impurities.
An all-weather cover is also included with all systems, which works great for outdoor applications or just to keep the dust off.
Our timers are very user friendly and easily programmable. They combine the ultimate in reliability and ease of use. Timers have settings for automatic spray as well as manual over ride. The gasketed enclosure door keeps dust and dirt out. All timers now include a self-recharging battery backup.... no more resetting the system timer after a power failure!
We use a newly upgraded brass 1/3 hp positive displacement pump/motor combination that provides accurate high pressure as well as quiet, reliable service.
Our float assembly consists of a switch inside the barrel to provide accurate low liquid level sensing. This float shuts the system down to protect the pump when the reservoir is low. A 100 mesh suction filter is standard on all systems.
We offer a wide assortment and variety of fittings from straight and 45 degree tee nozzles and elbow nozzles to line and nozzle shutoff valves, outdoor nozzle riser assemblies and more to complete your installation.
New for 2008 are our Mini Nozzles for use in landscape installations. These are available in "tee" configurations as well as on risers. Their use will be primarily on fence lines and as risers in planting beds. Use is not recommended around tile, stone, decorative rock etc. to avoid staining during system startup and shutdown.
Mini-Mist is the solution for insect control in smaller areas. This convenient automatic insect spraying system consists of a 15 gallon poly barrel, motor, pump w/ fittings, gauge and timer assembly. The Mini-Mist can run up to 20 nozzles, using the same pump and motor unit as the Automist, making it ideal for 2-4 stall stables, kennels, patios, perimeter fencing around the home, etc. The Mini-Mist uses the same high quality nylon tubing and Nickel-silver plated nozzles used by the Automist system. For the times when an extra spray cycle is needed the remote control with included digital timer option is handy. Wireless compact design. Push the button and a spray cycle starts. Once completed, the timer returns to automatic operation. The timer can be operated in automatic or manual (spray on demand) mode. A "skip next cycle" command can also be activated from the remote control key fob.
The rain sensor and its unique Quick Response™ feature, you can command the Automist system to shut off immediately – not after a quarter- or a half-inch, but right when it starts to rain. Our rain sensor can be mounted in a variety of ways: on a rain gutter, on conduit, with a telescoping extension to bring the unit away from an eave, or in the standard method on a flat vertical surface like a wall or fence. A practical application for a yard, pool or patio area.
The wind sensor offers the most cost-effective solution to breezy situations as it shuts off the Automist system during periods of high wind, then automatically resets the system when conditions are more favorable. Wind sensors make outdoor and barn installations more efficient as your system will shut down during high wind conditions and will help prevent wasted insect control solution. Effective in barns as well as yard, pool and patio installations.
Insecticide Usage rates: Based on a typical timer setting of 6 spray cycles per day and approximately 45 seconds duration per cycle you will use .075 gallons of solution per nozzle per day. This usage rate applies to all system sizes. *

Tired of swatting at flies and
mosquitoes while trying to enjoy your backyard deck , patio, Bar-B-Q or swimming
pool? Get more enjoyment out of your porch, patio or yard ! Consider installing an automatic fly spray system around your home or backyard to keep unwanted flies and mosquitoes, as well as other pests, from spoiling your outdoor fun! Let us design some backyard protection for you and turn your outdoor area into a No Fly Zone too!
Why use an automatic fly spray system? Insects become active as soon as the weather warms in the spring. This means that as the temperature increases, they start reproducing. One typical female adult fly lays from 250 to 1250 eggs in a two to five week period. From the time the egg is laid to the formation of an adult is 9 to 43 days, depending on temperature and moisture conditions. Multiply this by the number of flies in a typical barn on a hot day and the resulting population is the cause of most fly problems. The Automist system answers the problem of ineffective, labor intensive insect control. Being an automatic system, the Automist sprays any facility on a regular preset schedule. The Automist system treats the facility with insecticide spray in about 1 minute or less, several times a day thereby not allowing flies to escape, as they do with other methods. Using this technology, plus effective, safe, water based insecticide, Automist controls insects by killing a larger number each time it sprays, thus breaking the insects breeding cycle. Both of these systems carry a full one year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of any part found defective during normal use within the 12 month period. This warranty does not cover shipping and handling charges. As with any method of insect control, when used in an animal setting, the Automist system should be used in conjunction with good manure management, moisture control and general farm sanitation.
